Ointment for Burns

Pharmacological properties – anti-inflammatory, anesthetic and antiseptic action, it is conducive to eliminating the wound necrosis and the abscesses, stimulates regeneration and epithelization, causing general improvement of a patient’s health.

Indication – I, II, III and IIIa degree burns, in case of III b and IV degree burns – the preparation of the affected area for free plastic. Apart from burns, the ointment is effectively applied for frostbite and erysipelatous inflammation.

Application – before application of the ointment, a wound (burn) is to be treated with antiseptic solution (weak solution of potassium permanganate or 3% hydrogen peroxide). Spread the ointment on a cotton cloth or a three-layered piece of gauze, put on an effected area and bandage. The bandage is to be changed once in 12 hours.
